Corrections log
When we get something wrong on a published page, we fix it and record it here: the date, what changed and which pages were affected. Routine updates, such as a new interest rate or next year's contribution limit, are shown on each page's "last verified" date instead.

The site description, founder bio and footer said every product was personally used and every deal was tested and updated weekly. That overstated our process, so we replaced it with what we actually do: check every fee, rate and rule against the official source and date the check.

Re-checked every sign-up offer on the provider's official page. Most offers had changed and were updated; two were removed: the Interactive Brokers referral offer (not open to Canadian residents) and the Costco Mastercard from Capital One (no longer offered in Canada).

Credit card issuer pages were titled "Tested", but the cards weren't tested hands-on. The titles now describe what the pages do: compare each issuer's cards on published fees and rewards.

Merged three overlapping Wealthsimple card pages into one and corrected the card details: the current Wealthsimple card is a prepaid Visa with no published cash back (the earlier 1% cash back card ended September 30, 2025).

Site-wide accuracy pass: removed first-person claims about opening or using accounts that we couldn't support, and corrected Wealthsimple fees, rates, plan names and account details against Wealthsimple's own pricing and help pages.
