Methodology
Every offer in this index comes from a single registry that records its terms, qualifying conditions, expiry date, the official page the offer was checked on, and the date of that check. The 38 offers listed here were checked against each provider’s official page on Oct 11, 2026. Each row shows its own check date and links to the page it was checked on. Providers can change or end offers without notice, so confirm the terms on the provider’s page before you apply.
Cash bonuses are counted at face value. Points offers are counted only when the issuer publishes a fixed redemption rate (a set number of points per $1 of travel or statement credit). The figure used is the full “up to” welcome bonus at that rate, using the travel rate where the issuer publishes separate rates for travel and other redemptions. Where the issuer states a lower dollar value for the bonus itself, the lower figure is used. Best-case figures that depend on one particular redemption (such as a specific flight) and issuer estimates based on past redemptions (such as the flight-value estimates on Aeroplan cards) are not fixed rates, so they are not used, and offers that have only those count as $0. Gift cards, NEXUS or lifestyle credits, annual-fee rebates, recurring annual spending bonuses and similar extras are not added, and annual fees are not subtracted. 20 offers have no fixed dollar value, so they are counted as $0 and left out of the combined total: Questrade, Moomoo Canada, KOHO, American Express Aeroplan Reserve, American Express Aeroplan, TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite, CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite, CIBC Aventura Visa Infinite, CIBC Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege, CIBC Aventura Visa Infinite Privilege, CIBC Aventura Gold Visa, CIBC Adapta Mastercard, CIBC Aventura Visa, CIBC Aeroplan Visa, CIBC Adapta Mastercard for Students, CIBC Aventura Visa for Students, CIBC Aeroplan Visa for Students, CIBC U.S. Dollar Aventura Gold Visa, CIBC Select Visa, Marriott Bonvoy American Express.
Values shown are maximum amounts and usually require meeting a condition such as a minimum deposit, recurring direct deposit, or spending threshold within a set window. Some counted maximums include points paid only after the first year (for example, an anniversary bonus), so the card has to stay open into its second year. This index is general information, not financial advice.

Frequently asked questions
How much are Canadian signup bonuses worth in total right now?
YieldMaple’s index lists 38 active Canadian bank, brokerage, fintech and credit card signup offers, checked against each provider’s official page on Oct 11, 2026. The 18 offers with a fixed dollar value add up to $6,500 at their maximum. The other 20 have no fixed dollar value, so they are listed but counted as $0. The largest single offer by dollar value is BMO Eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege, worth up to $1,333 at the issuer’s published redemption rate or stated value.
What is the largest single signup bonus in the index?
By dollar value, it is BMO Eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege: Up to 200,000 BMO Rewards points + up to $200 NEXUS credit + $200 anniversary lifestyle credit, counted at up to $1,333 at the issuer’s published redemption rate or stated value. Any extras listed with the offer, such as credits or gift cards, are not included in that figure, and annual fees are not subtracted. Like most offers in the index, the full amount depends on conditions (a minimum deposit, direct deposit or spending within a set window), so check the terms on the provider’s official page before you apply.
How does YieldMaple check and value these offers?
Each offer is recorded in a single registry with its terms, qualifying conditions, expiry, the official page it was checked on and the date of that check. Every row in the index shows that date and links to that page. Cash bonuses count at face value. Points offers count only where the issuer publishes a fixed redemption rate for its points; issuer estimates based on past redemptions (such as Aeroplan flight-value estimates) are not a fixed rate, so those offers, like any other offer without a fixed dollar value, count as $0.
Are these bonus values guaranteed?
No. The values shown are maximum amounts and usually require meeting conditions such as a minimum deposit, a recurring direct deposit, or a spending threshold within a set window. They are also gross figures: annual fees are not subtracted. Providers can change or end offers without notice, so always confirm the current terms on the provider’s official page before signing up.
